Wearing an oversized college sweater
Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail
She danced across the hardwood floor
In white socks

Her smile audible from across the room
She pointed a finger at me
And bit her lip

Her excitement barely contained
She sat on the couch with me
And we watched HGTV for 5 hours
